Came back from two weeks in Tallinn !!! I had to postpone the journey at first, then it should have been a week, then 10 days, but in the end we managed to stay until yesterday. And so now i found myself hurring to prepare Wacken and Finland (with Marta angry at me :P) , stressed and very very tired, but quite happy...

I met Svetlana in Riga !!! I was so happy. She travelled 3 hours only to see me a couple of hours! But i was soooooooo happy to see her! Here it is, Arianna, me, Natasha (a russian friend of Roman living in Riga) and Sveta !

Then, Arianna and I went to Tallinn mainly to see Roman, a Russian friend of us (in Tallinn there are 40% of Russians ) that she met on internet. What a strange invention internet ! Roman is really a special person, a very clever guy and a omniscient old school metalhead and musician. Arianna says we look like two sami brothers (indeed his great mum Svetlana is half Siberian) and actually we really behaved like two brothers: his sign is Aries, opposite to mine, so we kept on quarrelling about me not walking fast enough (i never walked so much as in this holiday!), buying "pointless" things, being unlogical, listening to pop metal and believing in "horrorscope". And i complained about his logic, his walking too fast, his being really too straight... But in the end we were like brothers... with me complaing about his aries being and him saying i didnt' make efforts, when i had cramps at every step XD

He's a really wise guy, and he kept teaching us good lessons. From lesson about life , to potatoes peeling (a 20 years old russian guy that teach to two italian older girls how to peel potatoes XDDDDDD)...

Some of his lessons...

"that's life, you never know what to expect, so better don't expect anything"

"i tell the truth and people don't like to hear the truth"

"one betayer once betrays always"

to me being allergic to everything: "but aren't you allergic to life?"

"there are people that live forever with memories of their first love, and spoil their life like that"

i am a bit tired... "yeah, everyone is tired"

"you have to decide for yourself, cause if you dont nobody will do it for you"

"there are 3 things you can watch forever: fire, waterfalls, and how other people work"

e la mia preferita, che gli ho detto mi tatuero' :P

"overanalysing a situation is basically MUCH worser than underanalysing it"

Arianna and i are also quite sure he has some kind of shamanic power. But we don't want to reveal more, take us for crazy or not :P

btw, Roman studies ship technologies and work at the port, so it was interesting to find things about his study and work. And he made us visit all Tallinn not as tourists, but as real (I)tallinners. It was just awesome.

The experience of walking kilometres to go and do a barbecue where to taste the most good meat ever while mosquitos bites you is, believe me, unforgettable!

Tallinn is btw just beautiful. I prefer only Praha between the cities i have seen. The center is all medieval and we also went while a folk festival was in course, so at every corner there were people in costumes and the atmosphere was so cool^^

We also went to the sea a couple of time... the baltic ocean ! We searched for amber on the shore, but as expected we didn't find. But i still took some stones as memories.

By the way, Roman has a band a project with him and another russian guy playing, a 16 years old called Anton; they play some covers like Mayhem's Freezing moon and some own song.

The first time reaching the rehersal room was a hard experience cause the bus broken and we didn't find the place, but then we managed to!

We had so much fun that went to rehersal also the following saturday.

It's fun because i asked Roman Anton's phone number cause he looked like a very interesting and nice guy ; and I was happy of that, because I proved to be right, even if he's only 16 years old he's such a smart and intelligent guy and it's a pleasure to talk with him. His 16 years old Russian-Polish mind is like the one of a - at least - 40 years old Italian XD

By the way, a couple of days later i lost my telephone on the bus, it was found by a russian couple and they looked at the sms... the last one was from Anton, so they called him to say they found my phone :P

the scene of them giving me back the phone was of real russian mafia: they got out of the car and agreed with Roman for a compense. I managed to give them only about 15 euros, luckily :P

I can grant you it seems Russian hosts are the best in the world. Roman's parents and grandmum treated us as their daugthers and they were there to solve every possible problem. I even decided to learn Russian and i learnt cyrillic in about 2 or 3 days ! Of course learning the language will be a bit more difficult XD but Roman gave me two books of his childhood with fairytales and poetries and i can practise there.... ahh, russian hosts...

Now as i told you i really would need to enjoy some rest, but i don't have time XD

I hope you enjoyed my report. As i promised Ginte, next time in the Baltic countries i'll go to LITHUANIA !!!

Пока... bye !
