when came to the station; we went to an "Arkioski" (a shop) where the shop assistant was something incredible, with blue eyes like a husky and long black hair... but of course we didn't want to be late at the party, so we took the tram number 6 towards Telakkakatu (in Italian this name sounds quite funny=P) and to the Nosturi; the venue of the party !!!

I was shivering so much, and before going in, i thought it was for the cold outside... but when i didn't get calm entering, i realized that was because i was so nervous ^_^"

Tremavo un sacco prima di entrare; ma pensavo che fosse per il freddo... poi, quando non mi sono calmata dopo l' ingresso, mi sono accorta che era per il nervosismo ^_^"

We payed 3 euros for the entrance (i think it is so honest; also included some free beverage!), and while going in we suddenly met Heikki (the drummer of the band) and Ilkka (the guy of the merchandise). Then, at one table i saw Kride (the guitar player) with three girls; while playin'... i really dunno how to translate it in english, in italian it's "calcetto"... by the way one thing to play the game of soccer=P there there was Jukka (the bass player of Norther and also of Wintersun).

Abbiamo pagato 3 euro per l' ingresso (penso che sia onestissimo; includeva anche dei drinks gratis!), e all' entrata abbiamo subito incontrato Heikki (il batterista) ed Ilkka (il ragazzo del merchandise). Poi, a un tavolo ho visto Kride (il chitarrista) con 3 ragazze; mentre che giocava a calcetto c' era Jukka (il bassista dei Norther e dei Wintersun).

I was really shocked, and it was good that Tuomas, Petri and Jari came later; because if i had found all of them when entering i dunno if i could survive XD ... by the way, as a first thing i presented myself to Ilkka and Heikki, because they were the ones i had talked to in the forum, and i asked Heikki the autographs for my friends... but i hadn't asked him the picture because i was still too nervous , and later i forgot to do it =/

Ero veramente shockata; ed è un bene che Tuomas, Petri e Jari siano arrivati piu' tardi; perchè se li avessi trovati tutti subito all' entrata non so se sarei sopravvissuta XD ... comunque, come prima cosa mi sono presentata ad Ilkka ed Heikki, perchè con loro avevo parlato nel forum, e ho chiesto ad Heikki gli autografi pe le mie amiche... ma non gli ho chiesto di fare una foto perchè ero ancora troppo nervosa, e dopo mi sono dimenticata di farla =/

I came back to breath a bit to Niky and Petteri; and then i decided to go to Kride... and i approached him saying "Hi Kride, could you give me some autographs for my friends in Italy?"... and it seemed to me that a girl looked at me with funny expression, which i thought to be 'cause i asked the autographs; but i later found from Elisa that "Kride" is pronounced as written in Italian... when i found it out; i felt quite ashamed XD By the way, he was very nice to me, and wrote me the autographs for my friends. I asked him if he thinks that Norther are going to play at the Wacken this year, and he said he hope this is going to happen.... me too XD so i will go there !

Sono tornata dalla Niky e da Petteri per respirare un po'; e poi ho deciso di andare da Kride... l' ho approcciato dicendogli "Ciao Kride, mi potresti fare degli autografi per le mie amiche in Italia?"... e mi è sembrato che una ragazza mi guardasse divertita, ma credevo che fosse perchè gli ho chiesto gli autografi... solo che piu' tardi Elisa mi ha detto che "Kride" si pronuncia come è scritto in Italiano... quando l' ho scoperto, mi sono un po' vergognata XD Comunque, è stato molto simpatico con me, e mi ha fatto gli autografi per le mie amiche. Gli ho chiesto se pensa che i Norther suoneranno al Wacken quest' anno, e ha detto che spera di sì... lo spero anch io XD così ci andro'!

at this point i came back to drink and talk with my friends. And i was sayin' "It is so bad there are no Petri and Tuomas, because they are probably the ones i most wanted to see" , but Niky said she was sure that they would come. And i asked Petteri if it was normal that all the people were so calm and didn't ask for pics and things like that... he said it is not so common in Finland, also because almost everybody know each other. So i hope, i didn't seem to act too weird =P

a questo punto sono tornata a bere e a parlare coi miei amici. E dicevo "Che peccato che non ci siano Petri and Tuomas, perchè sono quelli che piu' volevo vedereee", ma la Niky ha detto che era sicura che sarebbero venuti. E ho chiesto a Petteri se è normale che tutti fossero così calmi e non chiedessero foto e cose così... lui ha risposto che non sono cose così comuni in Finlandia, anche perchè si conoscono quasi tutti. Quindi, spero di non essere sembrata troppo strana =P

After some time, i saw Tuomas (the keyobard player) coming in from the door ! The first think i thought was Ambra of course  (she's break doll in the Norther's forum) and since she cared so much about that autograph, i just waited for him to sit with Kride and other and i went there. I just asked if he could sign these autographs, and one for a very special fan, who studies music and admire him so much his music and him XD so i asked if in that autograph he could add a smiley or something like that. And he drew a small heart... i was so happy for Ambra, that you can't imagine XD i think he thought the autograph actually was for me XD XD XD because i looked too happy.

Dopo un po', ho visto Tuomas (il tastierista) che entrava ! La prima cosa a cui ho pensato è stata naturalmente Ambra  (break doll nel forum dei Norther) e, dal momento che ci teneva così tanto all' autografo, ho aspettato che lui si sedesse con Kride ed altri e sono andata lì. Gli ho chiesto se poteva firmare gli autografi, di cui uno era per una fan veramente speciale, che studia musica e ammira tanto lui e il suo modo di suonare XD quindi gli ho chiesto se in quell' autografo poteva aggiungere una faccina o qualcosa del genere. E lui ha disegnato un cuoricino... ero così felice per Ambra, che non vi potete immaginare XD penso che lui abbia pensato che l' autografo in realta' fosse per me XD XD XD perchè ero troppo felice.

I asked him and Kride to check the pm; because Ambrikki and Martikki (and me of course) are interested in doing Norther's italian fansite and fan club; and so we wrote them, but i asked if they are interested, and Tuomas said of course, because it's always a good promotion for the band, and what's more there's not many people in Italy that speak very good English. He also asked me about my travel (he read on the forum that i came) and how long i was going to stay in Helsinki; but since i was so nervous, it was amazing to see that i didn't know what to say, and he was him to ask the things, for example what i study... i said that i study English and Norwegian; but that actually i wanted to study Finnish, but i couldn' t move to do it  and i started speaking bad of Norwegian and very good of Finnish people XD XD XD ... I also said that i expected more people at the party, and he said he did too, but probably more people would come... and to him and Kride i asked if Petri was going to come XD they said yes, and i said, luckily, because i have a friend who cares so much about his autograph...

Ho chiesto a lui e a Kride di guardare i messaggi privati; perchè Ambrikki e Martikki (e ovviamente io) siamo interessate a fare il fansite e il fan club italiani dei Norther ; quindi gli abbiamo scritto, ma gli ho chiesto se erano interessati, e Tuomas ha detto certo, perchè è sempre una buona promozione per la band, e inoltre non ci sono tante persone in Italia che parlano bene l' inglese. Mi ha anche chiesto riguardo al mio viaggio (ha letto nel forum che venivo) e per quanto tempo sarei stata ad Helsinki; ma, dal momento che ero nervosissima, è stato incredibile vedere che non sapevo cosa dire ed era lui che mi chiedeva le cose, per esempio cosa studio... al che gli ho detto che studio inglese e norvegese; ma che effettivamente volevo studiare finlandese, ma non mi potevo trasferire per farlo  e ho iniziato a parlare male dei norvegesi e benissimo dei finlandesi XD XD XD ... gli ho anche detto che pensavo che sarebbe venuta piu' gente al party, e ha detto che anche lui lo pensava, ma probabilmente altra gente sarebbe arrivata... e ho chiesto a lui e a Kride se Petri sarebbe venuto XD loro hanno detto sì, e ho detto, per fortuna, perchè ho un' amica a cui interessa molto il suo autografo...

The singer of Wintersun (actually he played and wrote the whole album apart from drums) and former of Ensiferum that i was hoping so much to see  !!! I think i told to Tuomas and Kride "OOOOH, THERE IS JARI, I WAS HOPING SO MUCH THAT HE CAMEEEE !!!", and i went away to go to him =P=P=P

Il cantante (ma ha scritto suonato tutto l' album, batteria a parte) dei Wintersun ed ex-cantante degi Ensiferum che speravo così tanto di vedere !!! Penso di aver detto a Tuomas e Kride "OOOH, C' è JARI, SPERAVO COSì TANTO CHE VENISSEEEEEEEE!!!!", e me ne sono corsa da lui =P=P=P

He became so much my idol in the last times, that i really couldn't imagine to see him really. He was with a girl and some friends, and had Amon Amarth sweatshirt... i have always liked him, he has such an intense face, but i think that in live he's still nicer (well, i guess this is the same also for the others... the one that stroke me more is Tuomas... live he's amazingly beautiful! Even in the forum someone wrote that his/her mum said that live he's so cute) ... and very tall, which i didnt' expected also from him (Tuomas and Petri are so tall=P but from them i expected it).

E' diventato così tanto il mio idolo negli ultimi tempi; che davvero non riuscivo a credere di vederlo dal vivo. Era con una tipa e con degli amici, e aveva la felpa degli Amon Amarth... mi è sempre piaciuto, ha un volto così intenso, ma secondo me dal vivo è ancora meglio (bè, è lo stesso anche per gli altri... quello che mi ha colpita di piu' è stato Tuomas... dal vivo è stupendo ! Anche nel forum qualcuno ha scritto che sua mamma ha detto che dal vivo è bellissimo) ... ed è altissimo, cosa che non mi aspettavo da lui (Tuomas e Petri sono altissimi=P ma da loro me lo aspettavo).

By the way, i went to Jari, and this time also Niky came, because she cares more than him than Norther... she also told him this XD while i was too nervous to say something intelligent, but i stated i appreciate sooo much his music with Ensiferum and Wintersun...

Comunque, sono andata da Jari, e stavolta anche la Niky è venuta con me, perchè le importa piu' di lui che dei Norther... glielo ha anche detto XD mentre io ero troppo nervosa per dire qualcosa di intelligente, ma gli ho detto che apprezzo cosììì tanto la sua musica con gli Ensiferum e Wintersun...

At this time, since i was already in the part of the room where Jukka was, i went to him also... together with Tuomas, he was the nicest to me !!!!!! He also looked happy that i came from Norway for the party; he asked me how long i had travelled and if i came alone (he also had read that i came in the forum) , and he asked me which part from Italy i come from... then he asked me if i knew some people in Italy... i told him about the "Behind the scenes" of Norther; and he said that it's nothing compared to what they usually do XD... and then i did suchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh a funny thing XD XD XD i said that i wanted to download the new album of Wintersun but i asked him "it's not possible that's that one, 'cause it's not out yet... isn't it?=P" and he replied me but he had a strange expression, so i realized that it's not fair to say to the band that you download their cd XD XD XD XD XD but i added that of course after i would have suddenly bought the original one !!! Hope he believed me XD but he was so nice; really

A questo punto, siccome ero gia' nella parte del locale dove c' era Jukka, sono andata anche da lui... insieme a Tuomas, è stato il piu' simpatico con me !!!!!! Anche lui sembrava felice che fossi venuta dalla Norvegia per il party; mi ha chiesto quanto avevo viaggiato e se da sola (anche lui ha letto nel forum che venivo), e mi ha chiesto da che parte dell' Italia venissi... poi mi ha chiesto se conoscessi qualcuno in Italia... gli ho parlato del "Behind the scenes" dei Norther; e ha detto che non è nulla paragonato a quel che fanno di solito XD.... e poi ho fatto una cosa cosìììììì divertente XD XD XD ho detto che volevo scaricare il nuovo album dei Wintersun ma gli ho chiesto "non è possibile che sia quello, perchè non è ancora uscito... o no?" e lui mi ha risposto ma aveva una faccia strana, al che mi sono resa conto che non è molto bello dire a un gruppo che scarichi i loro cd XD XD XD XD XD ma ho aggiunto che naturalmente avrei subito dopo comprato l' originale ! Spero che mi abbia creduta XD ma è stato così simpatico; davvero

 ... after this, i came back to my table, but i was regretting very much that i hadn't ask the autograph for me to Tuomas... so, when he was coming back from the toilet, i called him XD and he sat , and i asked him the autograph. Then i said thank you sooo much; and that i will spread the word of Norther in the whole Italy  perhaps i exhaggerated a bit, 'cause he had to go XD but i would have regretted not asking the autograph for me...

... dopo di cio', sono tornata al mio tavolo, ma nel frattempo mi ero pentita di non avere chiesto a Tuomas un autografo anche per me... quindi, mentre tornava dal bagno, l' ho chiamato XD e lui si è seduto, e gli ho chiesto l' autografo. Allora l' ho ringraziato un sacco; e gli ho detto che portero' il verbo dei Norther in tutta Italia  forse ho esagerato un po', perchè è dovuto andare XD ma mi sarei pentita di non avergli chiesto l' autografo...

The time was passing; Petri was not coming, and my friend was saying that if he didn't come for 23, we would have gone... so i was prayin'=P and every blonde long-haired guy that was entering, i was thinking he was Petri XD... well, finally at 23 i saw a face out of the door... and instead of fainting, as i thought, all my nervous went away in a second, and i felt completely calm ! Probably, as Marta says, because my blood was completely frozen in my veins. But my mission was completed, i could see him=P he looked already quite drunk...

Il tempo passava; Petri non arrivava, e la mia amica diceva che se non arrivava per le 23, ce ne saremmo andati... quindi pregavo=P e tutti i tipi biondi e lungocriniti che entravano, pensavo fossero Petri XD... bè, finalmente alle 23 ho visto una faccia fuori dalla porta... e invece di svenire, come pensavo, tutto il mio nervoso è sparito, e mi sono sentita completamente calma ! Probabilmente, come dice Marta, perchè il sangue mi si era gelato completamente nelle vene. Ma la mia missione era compiuta, sono riuscita a vederlo=P sembrava gia' abbastanza brillo...

 ... i went to him, because i didn't want to lose time, since a guy was organizing a karoke singing "Still of the Night" from Whitesnake... and i thought that maybe Petri was going to sing=P so i went there and asked if he could sign the autographs from my friends in Italy... and he said "where???" and me "Italy" and he said "you are from Italy???!!!" and me "yep" and he said " I HAVE TO SAY YOU ARE INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " and i told "thanx, i know XD XD XD"... this is cool; Petri Lindroos stated that i am crazy!!!

... sono andata da lui, perchè non volevo perdere tempo, dal momento che un tipo stava organizzando un karaoke cantando "Still of the Night" dei Whitesnake... e pensavo che magari Petri stava per cantare=P quindi sono andata da lui e gli ho chiesto se mi poteva firmare gli autografi per le mie amiche in Italia... e lui ha detto "dove???" e io "Italia" e lui "vieni dall' Italia???!!!" e io "sì" e lui "DEVO PROPRIO DIRE CHE SEI MATTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" e gli ho detto "lo so, grazie XD XD XD"... che figata; Petri Lindroos mi ha detto che sono matta!!!

By the way, it was fun 'cause when i asked the autographs he did only one, and gave me back with a satisfied expression. Then i dared to say "well, you should do other 3 of these"... and what's more... "and my friend Marta told me to say that you have the best unclean vocals in the scene!!!!! She's a great fan of you... could you please do a smiley or something like that on her autograph?" ...so he asked "is your friend a <he> or a <she>???" and me "a she !!!!" ... so he drew a very funny little metal girl... he took some time to do it !!! (you will see it in the autographs' pictures)

Comunque, è stato divertente perchè quando gli ho chiesto gli autografi ne ha fatto uno solo, e mi ha ridato i fogli con un' espressione soddisfatta. Allora ho osato dire "ehm, me ne dovresti fare altri 3"...e poi..."e la mia amica Marta mi ha detto di dirti che il tuo cantato non pulito è il migliore sulla piazza!!!!! E' una tua grande fan... perfavore, mi potresti fare una faccina o qualcosa del genere sul suo autografo?" ...e lui ha chiesto "il tuo amico è un <lui> o una <lei>???" e io "una lei!!! ... al che ha disegnato una divertente bambolina metallara... ci ha messo un po' a farla !!! (la vedrete nella foto degli autografi)

... and now, i really have to write my impression; since the main reason i went to Finland now was to see Petri =P ... well, talking about his beauty, he's of course soooooo beautiful... but not a lot more than i expected... that would have been REALLY impossible !!! But in the whole evening, i was stroked more by Tuomas and Jukka, they are both WAY prettier than i expected, most of all Tuomas is very very beautiful and nice. Kride also is great, while it's bad i didn't speak to Heikki much... and Jari is god, there 's no need to add anything ^_^

... e ora, devo proprio scrivere la mia impressione; perchè il motivo principale per cui sono andata in Finlandia proprio ora è stato vedere Petri =P ... bè, parlando della sua bellezza, è ovviamente stupendoooooooooooo.... ma non tanto piu' di quanto mi aspettassi... bè, sarebbe stato DAVVERO impossibile !!! Ma in tutta la serata, sono rimasta piu' colpita da Tuomas e Jukka, sono tutti e due MOLTO piu' belli di quanto pensassi, soprattutto Tuomas è veramente bello e simpatico. Kride anche è un idolo, mentre purtroppo con Heikki ho parlato poco... e Jari è dio, non c' è altro da aggiungere ^_^

this is a pic i took before going... and before going we also talked to the others and to Jukka we also asked if he wanted to come to the Hevimesta after party XD

Here's out autographs... as you can see i only have the ones of Jari and Petri, 'cause they were the 2 i most wanted, and the one of Tuomas, 'cause as i told you i decided after talking to him that i wanted also his very much XD

Then we went to the Hevimesta for the heavy karaoke; Elisa reached us there, while Petteri went home 'cause he was not feeling good and in these days he's recording with the band... at the Hevimesta we met a young blonde guy which kept on sayin' he sings and plays guitar in 3 bands... but he was nice so i booked with him to sing "Lai Lai Hei" from Ensiferum; i was drunk enough to do this... but i found out that there's 1 or 2 hours booking queue XD so i wasn't able to sing !!! We went home, me ready to watch all the pics in my camera thousand times, and with a happiness rarely felt in my life=P also 'cause i could bring to Marta, Ambra and Valeria their autographs... and believe me, the happiness to see their comments when i told them about Tuomas' and Petri's smiley were priceless  [ i kept on sayin' that Tuomas had been very romantic, and Elisa and Niky told me "Holy innocence!!!" XD XD XD]

Poi siamo andate all' Hevimesta per il karaoke metal; Elisa ci ha raggiunte lì, mentre Petteri è andato a casa perchè non si sentiva bene e in questi giorni sta registrando con la band... all' Hevimesta abbiamo incontrato un ragazzino biondo che continuava a dire che canta e suona la chitarra in 3 band... ma era simpatico, quindi mi sono prenotata con lui per cantare "Lai Lai Hei" degli Ensiferum; ero ubriaca abbastanza per farlo... ma ho scoperto che c' erano 1 o 2 ore di fila XD quindi non ho fatto in tempo a cantare !!! Siamo tornate a casa, io ero pronta per riguardarmi migliaia di volte le foto nella mia macchina fotografica, e con una felicita' raramente provata nella mia vita =P anche perchè avrei potuto portare a Marta, Ambra e Valeria i loro autografi... e credetemi, la felicita' nel vedere i loro commenti quando gli ho detto delle faccine disegnate da Tuomas e Petri è stata senza prezzo  [continuavo a dire che Tuomas è stato molto romantico, e l' Elisa e la Niky mi dicevano "Beata innocenza!!!" XD XD XD]

 

9 december

I dunno how i managed to wake up the following morning; but Niky decided that we had to do "alternative tourism" and so she brought me to the cemetery... and it is very beautiful... and it's full of squirrels!

then we walked until the Sibelius park... would you imagine from this pics; that it was about 3 pm?

Then we went to Elisa' s house (she's neighbour of someone from 69 eyes!!!) and then home; here's me with Behemoth:

In the evening; incredible episodes happened... me, Niky and Elisa went to the Heavy Corner, because according to Niky that could be a place that Jari attends... and there was a premonition 'cause when we went in there was "Dragonheads" from Ensiferum...

We went in (the limit age was 20.... luckily, now you' ll find out why) and after some time THE POLICE came to check our Identity Cards!! I suddenly recognized the policewoman who was checking us; as the one that in the end of Children of Bodom's new dvd brings Alexi away. But i thought it was not possible... so she was checking; and it seemed there was something wrong 'cause the normal Id was not enought=P but i said "you are not the woman from Children of Bodom's dvd???????" and she looked amazed and said "no...no....well...actually, i am!!!" and then she was so pleased XD and going away she greeted us and told me "it's amazing that you recognized me!!!" XD XD XD that was incredible ... but that was not enough... because after some minute i saw a figure behind us going to buy some drink... and i whispered "Niky... don't turn... THERE'S JARIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!" and really, i couldn't believe to meet him again... he was with the girl of the previous evening and some friends, and sat with them. I didn't dare to go to him again =/ perhaps i should have drunk more XD XD XD

 ... and then home... that was so sad to think the best 3 days of my life were going to end =(

 

 

10 december

I went with bus to the airport (Petteri could have drive me, if he didnt' have to record for his band... i write this because it is a cool thing XD XD XD); and took the plane, then 5 hours bus until fuckin' Kristiansand...

... the most shocking thing; was to switch language from Finnish to Norwegian... from the language of the Elves, to some fuckin' terrible Norsk dialect heard on the bus...

but everything was dreamlike in Finland... it was all exactly like in my dreams: the language, the people, the music, the parties, the places, the atmosphere... and i hope sooo much that in January i will manage to go and find my friend Alice in Erasmus in Turku =)

And i am always more sure that after finishing university, i wanna move to Helsinki for as more time as possible !!!
