Hei hei!!!

This summer was one of the busiest in travels of my life. I travelled to Roma in june, to Riga and Tallinn in july (as you can see from my post below), and to Germany and Finland in august.

And it was so awesome !

Wacken was one of the best gigs ever !!! Even if it was my first time camping and i was not very used at it =P

We saw so many great bands (for example: (Immortal, Saxon, Blind Guardian, Norther, Iced Earth, Enslaved, Dimmu Borgir, Possessed, Sodom, Amorphis, Stratovarius, Napalm Death, Lacuna Coil...)
, met so many people in the backstage, and met greeeat italian guys: Mac, Andrea, Dario, Mauro, Omar, Pavor who was with our friend Valeria... thanx for making this Wacken so special :)

and we met our australian friend Jade, one of the most incredible girls i ever met, so strong, nice and crazy!

Time spent in Finland was as awesome as the other 2 times i had been to Helsinki. I'd say better, cause we stayed more and cause Helsinki in summer is still nicer (not as Italy in summer :P)

We spent the first days at Lake Bodom... which is not one could imagine... it's crowded (for finnish standards), full of children and cheerful ! Marta and I were there with Sami and Taico, our friends half italian and half finnish (cousin of Lauri Porra :P) and had a great time!

And it was so funny as we met Lauri again at his jazz concert (Emma Salokoski Ensemble is AWESOME!)

Our friend Federica had met his finnish cousin (Lauri has so many cousins :P) at Inferno while Marta and I were at the gig... After the gig, Federica (after that we told her for all the week that we went to see Lauri Porra's gig) said "this guy is cousin of someone famous!"

I thought he was cousin of Jari cause he looked a bit like him. But he said... he was cousin of Lauri Porra XD

So we told him he was just in the near pub, Belly, and he got us to know him ! He was just wonderful, talking italian and being drunk (I'm ubbbriaco!), and in the end he called us "my beautiful italian girls" XD

The pic of me and Lauri has been edited with Photoshop by Cilla, a very nice italian girl in Helsinki studying Design and very far from the world of metal, but she learnt to appreciate it and we learnt to appreciate her world XD

In Helsinki Ilkka showed us some great part of the city... and we hang out with Andreli (Rhiannon from Norther's forum) and his italian friend:

 

One bad thing is i couldn't go to Imatra to see Norther (and Negative), while my friends Marta and Ludovica did. But the train was 80 euros and i had my luggage broken, so i really couldn't spend these money, since i needed a new luggage (i bought a pink one :P)
So Federica and I stayed in Helsinki, and we went to see Private Line and Sleazy Dream, since she payed me the concert =) that was at Gloria, as Curium Metal Fest in March !

After the gig Arska, the bass player of Sleazy Dream, came out from the venue with a girl and Federica stopped him to ask him a picture with me. He looked very surprised! Federica is so crazy, that's why I am laughing in the pic XD

At Inferno Bar, the "Hellkittens" of Helsinki (Marta, Ludovica, me and Fede) spent some great moments...

...and met crazy people ! As Reima, Impaled Nazarene's drummer (how crazy!)

and a true legend, Andy McCoy, famous for playing with Hanoi Rocks and Iggy Pop!

we also had a lot of fun with Ilkka (Norther's merchandise guy), Viola and Tiziana (Mimi & Coco); even if they had to leave soon for Germany =/

At Hevimesta, in december, i met a guy - Caspar - and i had to sing with him Lai Lai Hei from Ensiferum at Heavy Karaoke, but we didn't had the time. Now i met him again and we finally managed to sing it, with Marta ! It was so funny XD

Hoping for new reports soon ! (next travel planned: Lithuania, to find Ginte, Ieva and Gedas!)
