Nome: Eleonora Rivolta
Lola is my nickname since i was a child. My real name is Eleonora, i was born in Como, Italy, on 15th October 1985 and have a degree in Literatures & Languages in Milan. I've studied English and Scandinavian Languages (Norwegian and Swedish) and I was in Erasmus in Kristiansand, Norway, for 6 months, from august 10th 2006 until december. I decided to create this blog to tell my experiences during it; the best time of my life! I love music, metal (my fave band is Blind Guardian) , and playing bass. My main inspiration are Cliff Burton (R.I.P.), Steve Harris, Lemmy' s raw style, and Faso from Elio & le storie tese , withouth any doubt Italy's best bass player and a true idol. I also play keyboards and I read a lot and my fave authors are Wilde, for his style, Goethe, for the emotions i find in his books, Tolkien, for his stories, and Nietzsche, for his truths. I also love Dostoevskji, Bulgakov and the finnish author Paasilinna. I love movies, from Dead Poets Society, Lotr, Braveheart and Almost Famous; to American Pie and Road Trip. I also did some journalism job in the musical field and i'd like to keep being metal journalist, and maybe to teach italian to foreigners... in North Europe, of course! We finally booked !!! Me and my friend Chiara are going to LITHUANIA from november 9 til november 16 !
I am so happy ! I really cannot wait to meet again my dear friends Ginte, Ieva and Gedas. It seems incredible i don't see them since december... it's ten months !!! Even if we spent together a short time of our lives, this time was so intense that they're among the best friends i ever had. And the thought of seeing them again is so exciting !
GINTE is a real princess, it's the perfection, she's so beautiful and so good that you cannot even envy her, you can only love her
One of the things i love of IEVA is that i didn't gain her friendship immediately... i mean usually i get along soon with people but it's difficult to develop a good friendship for me. With Ieva it was the opposite, it was a challenge to gain her heart and i am so proud i could manage her to trust me eventually 
GEDAS is a true gentleman (when he doesn't drink too much ;) always funny and ready to help, he's really a special guy.
If these guys are the example of how people are in Lithuania, I think i cannot expect anything but a wonderful time there (and alcholol is sooo cheap, they promised 
)
I would like to leave also for a lot of other countries and meeting a lot of other people again but there's a time for evertything. I hope to realize these dreams from time to time. 
In the meantime... Ginte, Ieva, Gedas, wait for me =)

Here's mine...
1. i have an incredible phobia of bees, wasps, bumblebees and i dont even like flies. that's from the fact that...
2. i am allergic to many things, but my most serious allergy is the one to almonds, hazelnuts and nuts: i had twice an anaphylactic shock; once when i was 6 and i ate a nut for the first time, and once this year in venice, only cause some little trace of nut was on my pizza margherita
3. i am an hands' feticist... i can not like a very beautiful guy when i don't like his hands, and i can like a not very pretty one if he has beautiful hands
4. i hate people who are late... i am very anxious and even some minutes of delay can bother me. i ofter arrive a lot of time before to a meeting. obviously, most of my friends are always late
5. when my parents met for the first time, my mum was 15 and my dad 20: fifteen years later they got married, and they're still in love in spite of many arguments... that's why i still dream of prince charming, even though on the other hand i am a bit "afraid" of men
6. in spite of that, i don't want kids: apart from the terrible fear of the pain, i don't feel ready to be a mother, i love children but i don't have the mother's instinct
7. i am lazy at home, but i love to travel and i'd like to go everywhere, even if i prefer much colder countries... next places i would really wanna see are canada, japan, iceland, russia and united states
8. i have all the cds from hanson XD they were my fave band when i was a child
9. i passed the test to study japanese at university but, the day before giving the papers, i changed my mind to my old idea and decided to study norwegian
10. apart six months in norway, i have always lived in como, but in 3 different houses very near to each other and to the lake
